Associate Project Manager - Private Equity

What is the role? 

The Associate Project Manager (Private Equity) is a core client-facing, management position within’s Project Team. The role primarily focuses on engaging and managing EMEA-based Private Equity clients, particularly those in Growth Equity and Venture Capital, and delivering high-quality experts who meet these clients’ needs. A small minority of your clients will be in investment banking, small-high cap private equity or public equity. 

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 

  • Engaging with clients primarily in the Private Equity space, receiving their projects and delivering top experts at high speed 
  • Liaising with our Sales and Customer Success teams on PE clients to drive growth within the business unit 
  • Managing 1 Associate, who will support you in delivering experts to our PE clients 
  • Collaborating with our Training Specialist, who will support in training new joiners to your team 
  • Bringing your knowledge of how FS and PE clients work so that we can continuously improve our processes to deliver excellent service 
  • Identifying and proactively pushing relevant engagement opportunities to existing clients in order to drive growth in the core product 

Job requirements

An ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Confidence in front of clients
  • Positive, proactive, solutions-oriented and resilient in overcoming obstacles and objections
  • Ability to adapt working style to different client demands
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking and prioritisation are key
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in client relationship management serving Financial Services/Private Equity clients
  • A desire to lead and inspire a growing team
  • A keen interest in Financial Services and Private Equity
  • Full business proficiency in English; additional European languages are desirable
  • Previous management experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Pitchbook, MergerMarket or Preqin a plus
